National AmeriCorps Week took place in May. This annual celebration highlights the outstanding work done in our communities by AmeriCorps and VISTA volunteers. ETR Associates’ Knowledge & Information Management Department (KIM) manages the National Service Resource and Training (NSRT) project (under contract to the Corporation for National and Community Service). NSRT provides resources for the country’s service and civic engagement organizations and volunteers via the numerous websites managed by KIM.

Peggy Flynn, KIM Director, recently invited local AmeriCorps and VISTA volunteers Samantha Green, Anna Sullivan, Laney Rupp, Megan Carlson and Becka Heikkila to talk about their community projects in the Santa Cruz County, California, area, and to meet the staff of NSRT whose work supports the field.  For more information on NSRT or KIM please contact Peggy Flynn at peggyf@etr.org.
